National Study of Mental Health (NSMH)
The National Study of Mental Health (NSMH) is a research effort that
will provide critical information on mental health and health behaviors in the United States.
The NSMH will help begin to answer questions on these important topics by interviewing people who live at home
as well as those who are currently hospitalized, incarcerated, or residing in homeless shelters. Participants across the United States will be invited to participate in this important
national study. This initiative represents one of the largest studies on mental health in the United States. The study is funded by a grant to RTI from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
We’re very pleased to invite you to participate in this exciting
research opportunity!
